About this listen
New York City is one of the fashion capitals of the world, well known for its glamour and style. Yet high fashion means high stakes, as Alex Cooper discovers when designer Wolf Savage is found dead in an apparent suicide days before the biggest show of his career.
When Savage's daughter insists his death was murder, the case becomes a media sensation. Soon Alex is investigating the family secrets Savage kept so well hidden, just as things are about to get deadly on the catwalk....

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Sadly no. I love this writer and her books are usually a thrilling mix of crime and history but this book was a let down. The ending was predictable and dull. I kept waiting for the twist that never came. How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
A better ending, although there is a nice detail which makes me look forward to the next one. Hopefully it's better.Have you listened to any of Barbara Rosenblat’s other performances? How does this one compare?
She's a great reader, I've read many of her books and she always does an excellent job.Was Killer Look worth the listening time?
Yes and no. Fairstein is a favourite writer so I'll read all of her books but this one is not one of her best.Disappointing book from a usually strong writer

What a disappointment. Alex Cooper is an extremely professional ADA. But in this story she is off sick. She spent the whole book interfering and jeopardising the police investigation, and generally sulking and being a silly girl. She would never do that. It got a bit tiresome.
Also story was a bit poor. Felt like she rushed this one.
