ok

It wasn't bad. The reader could have been better, she wasn't great at putting on different accents.

Pulls you in from the start

Keep Your Eyes On Me immediately makes you realize what seems like the safety of talking to a stranger about the intimate details of your life can lead to dangerous repercussions. The story introduces Lily Power and her plight of her somewhat wayward brother upending their life and then we meet Vittoria Devine whose fabulous life is thrown into disarray by her cheating husband Marcus Devine. Two women from very different worlds, but united in how men have altered their lives. As the story progresses we see how some battles are best fought alone. The fantastic use of setting moves the beat of the story along, which is fast paced and intriguing. A perfect example of how lives weave together and become connected. Each character in the story perfectly increases the suspense that at times you don't know who to trust, which illustrates the risk involved in our exchanges and how they can come back to us. I liked the character Stephanie as often the other woman is portrayed as a flat character, whereas she equally was manipulated by Marcus Devine. This was my first book from Sam Blake and have ordered the January release of The Dark Room.

Keep Your Eyes On Blake

A great read with a fast-paced, interconnected plot that throws together an ex-ballerina, some Russian gangsters, ancient Sumarian artefacts, a young designer with a troubled brother, money, betrayal, glamorous locations, fabulous hotel rooms, about-turns, surprise reveals - what's not to love in this fun, engaging whirlwind of a thriller, the third book from Sam Blake. Read it in two days, and looking forward to her next - which obviously there will be, since the cliff-hanger at the end (not giving anything away here) clearly leads the way into a follow up. Keep your eyes on Blake...

Struggled to finish

Not a patch on Cat Connolly books.
Really didn't like the narrator at all and I shall be making sure I won't purchase anymore by her.

Very disappointed

Very Warped Sense Of Irish History

The Irish Taoiseach Éamon De Valera was not a Nazi sympathiser! Ireland was neutral during The Second World War, but quietly undisputedly supporting The Allies. This book is, I don’t know, is it libellous?! Even the timeline for the fictional characters is quite impossible. Victoria’s father-in-law, the high court judge used to attend dinner parties with De Valera and a load of Nazis? NO! For so many reasons! It’s the history aspect though that’s really very troubling.
