About this listen
Editor reviews
"Life is a series of sales situations," begins one of the many pieces of advice given by Patricia Fripp, award-winning speaker and sales-personnel trainer. This speech provides tips and rules for salespeople at all levels and much expertise about how to give spectacular presentations and communicate effectively. Fripp does more than just give advice though, she also lists 12 common mistakes amateur sales workers make. Accessible and entertaining, Fripp is a capable teacher and lively performer.
1) 59 minute book, but 15 minutes of intro blah blah. I really started to worry if actually she was going to get into techniques.
2) the slow emphasis - I know it was done for effect to extenuate the point but it starts to get annoying after a while as it feels like you are being treated as dumb
otherwise good tips, but would suggest it is not good enough as a stand alone book and you need another to go with it like Talk Like Ted or Steal the Show
good but could have been great

Very plain, and confusing to understand
