Making a change from their lifestyle in Hollywood, newlyweds Michael (an independent film creator) and his wife, River Bathory (a freelance illustrator and movie prop maker) decide to relocate to Michael's hometown of Colorado Springs, CO. By the looks of the large structure and beautiful landscape, the house on Teardrop Lane captures River's eye as an ideal dream home. Although, due to the newlywed's ethereal experiences of unexplained events, the house and property expose signs of haunting occupancy. Keeping siblings separated and confined by a spirit in black, both Samantha and Jeremiah Thatcher roam restless as their souls are not at rest. In their state of an eternal separation, the two spirits call out to the living by paranormal means to reunite and ease the pain of their untimely death. "Mother, will you save us?"
