En este libro se narran de forma sencilla e interrelacionada los acontecimientos bélicos acaecidos contra las tribus rebeldes desde los orígenes de la presencia española en el Territorio -allá por el siglo XV- hasta la independencia del constituido reino de Marruecos el 2 de marzo de 1956. Relata las siete Guerras destacadas acontecidas entre 1859 y 1927, haciendo especial hincapié en la Tragedia de Annual (1921) y en el Desembarco de Alhucemas (1925) con su Ofensiva Final (1926-1927).
