This series just keeps getting better and better. I loved Mitch in the second book and he was a joy here. The book is told from Kier’s pov which allows for a certain degree of miscommunication and incorrect assumptions. He’s in a bad place at the beginning of the book and watching Mitch gently easing his mental anguish and suspicion is a joy.
I laughed. I cried. Not ready to let these two go, I wanted more.
I also loved Charles, Kier’s best friend, a self confessed man whore. I immediately finished this and picked up the audio for Charles.
As for the audio, Cornell Collins does an excellent job. I love his Mitch. Con Riley describes his voice somewhere in the book as like a young Brian Blessed, and Collins nails it.
Highly recommended.
