It was a nice story with a great plot and was fast-paced enough to keep you listening. You are taken on a journey of self-discovery and are introduced to elves and other mythical creatures as the main character embarks on her quest to create an army so she can battle the man who is intent on destroying her people.
For me, at times, the dialogue between the characters was unnecessarily simplified, and some interactions come across as unrealistic.
I enjoyed this book overall and would recommend a listen.
