I still listen to Metallica as if they came out only yesterday and am a big fan of Guns 'N Roses, so I am probably biased, but this audiobook does a great job at covering the well-known and not so well known. The author provides interesting insight into musical currents and how they evolved, even though I was left to wonder why Iron Maiden is not included, certainly one of the superior best. A great leisurely listen for fasten of that era and for anyone who wants a concise glimpse into recent music history.
