About this listen
From USA Today and Amazon Charts bestselling author Meghan Quinn, and narrated in duet by Erin Mallon and Connor Crais with a full cast including Jason Clarke, Teddy Hamilton, JF Harding, and Kelsey Navarro, comes a new roommates to lovers, standalone sports romance featuring the hockey men you can’t get enough of. This steamy, one bed romantic comedy will bring all the laughs while making your cheeks blush at the same time. Sometimes the quietest are the most . . . vocal . . .
Word to the wise, never become roommates with a girl you’ve been pining over for the better part of a year.
You're probably wondering why I would do such a thing? Well, I didn’t.
It was my teammates.
The moment they found out Blakely White was single, they took it upon themselves to play cupid and instruct me on how I should win her over.
Don't wear a shirt around her.
Make her dinner.
Lightly touch her shoulder when you say goodbye.
I'm so flustered, so overwhelmed, so madly in love with this woman who barely notices me, that I lose control of the situation and make one huge mistake: I offer to be her fake date for a wedding so she can make her ex jealous.
That means, for one whole night I get a free pass with her. I get to hold her, dance with her, kiss her…stare at her from across the room like she’s my entire world because she has been for months now.
But when the night comes to an end, I’m faced with two options: bring her back to my bedroom and show her how I really feel, or let her walk away, succumbing to the fact that I very well might not be her type.

Great story, great production.
iv been waiting for Halsy to get a book, and what a book it is. with laugh out loud bits and deep areas exploring mental health it was great. the performance in duet is amazing and definitely the way forward, and the ensemble cast just made it a delight to listen to. especially if you have listened to the other books. can not wait foe the next book and hope it in the same format!

Favourite of this series
I’ve been binging this series recently and this book is hands down my favourite! All of the books are good fun with some excellent 🌶️🌶️🌶️, but this was next level 😅
Halsey is also quite different from the other MMCs which was refreshing and I really appreciated the consistency of his characterisation from the previous books too - the other boys feel a little one dimensional outside of their own stories, but Halsey felt like someone I already knew!
As others have said, it was also refreshing to have a departure from the 3rd act break up!

Outstanding!
This is the fourth book in The Vancouver Agitators series, a Sports Romance Romantic Comedy. This is my favorite in the series. I loved Halsey and Blakely's story! They are both great characters, and they are perfect together! The story is sweet, fun, heartwarming, and engaging. I liked the humor, and the friendship in the story. The supporting characters are great. The story is outstandingly narrated in duet by Erin Mallon and Connor Crais, with a full cast of narrators, including Jason Clarke, Teddy Hamilton, J.F. Harding, and Kelsey Navarro-Foster. The audio production is perfect! I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this series!

Halsey and Blakely!
Halsey plays hockey professionally with the Agitators who is still trying to heal from a devastating loss. His life revolves around hockey, books, his teammates and his secret crush on Blakely who became off limits when he found out she had a boyfriend. When the relationship ends, and she needs a place to stay his teammates decide the best way for him to win her heart is by having her become his roommate.
When Blakely’s long-time boyfriend decided to accept a job in Australia without talking to her she decided she didn’t want to leave her friends or her job at the Agitators. She now finds herself in a bind needing a place to stay when Halsey opens his home to her, and she realizes that there is much more to this nerdy hockey player than she could have imagined.
The chemistry between them is hot, the banter between them and the banter between Halsey and his teammates was hilarious but there is also an emotional pull to this story that will have you hoping that Halsey will find the happiness and peace that he deserves. The wonderful cast of narrators only makes this heartwarming and humorous story that much better.

Yes I’m being cheeky because I’ve tried multiple times to leave a review 🙄
Anyhoo…the cast is phenomenal. The story is a perfect balance of seggsy, lmao texts & shenanigans, but most importantly friendship & love.
Update…after 3 weeks of trying to post other reviews this one posted immediately 🙄
I absolutely loved the audiobook "He's Not My Type". This cast was perfect! Connor is sooo yummy & I adore Erin:)
I was hooked from the very beginning. The first three chapters had me laughing out loud 🤣.
He’s Not my Type is full of humor, heartbreak, and I promise Halsey will make you blush🥵. Well done Meghan…I may have had to fan myself a few times🫣. Halsey Homes is a perfect blend of sweet, sexy, and delightfully dirty.
PS….🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻Halsey’s mom🤬
PSS…I love all of those “nit wits” even when they make me cry
🏒Lines that stuck with me 🥅
“What the he11 is Frozen Fellas?”
“You know in Ted Lasso. They have the Diamond Dogs and go over the problems they’re facing. Well, I thought we needed a name, so I came up with Frozen Fellas. You know, because we’re men and we play hockey. Catchy, isn’t it?”😂😂🥰
“I was ¢^^k-shocked, and I don’t know how to handle it.”🤣🤣
Losing Holden was the toughest thing I’ve ever endured. But if I’ve learned one thing through such devastating loss, it’s that the sun still rises the next day. And the day after that. Life continues its motion. Waiting for your return.😭❤️🩹
