About this listen

Prosecuting attorney in the Manson trial Vincent Bugliosi held a unique insider's position in one of the most baffling and horrifying cases of the 20th century: the cold-blooded Tate-LaBianca murders carried out by Charles Manson and four of his followers. What motivated Manson in his seemingly mindless selection of victims, and what was his hold over the young women who obeyed his orders? Now available for the first time in unabridged audio, the gripping story of this famous and haunting crime is brought to life by acclaimed narrator Scott Brick.

I loved this audio book. Being a novice crime buff, I'd heard of Charles Manson, but never really knew what had happened. This book opened up to me what he was accused of and how it was purported that he committed the murders.

Well read and we'll written, I was never bored whilst listening.

Very interesting

This is unbelievable and yet it is true. Furthermore, to know it was written by the actual Prosecutor - just adds to the mystique that surrounds Manson. Fascinating.

Scary & riveting!

Engrossed from the start. The narrator is really pleasant on the ear and I need never read another book on the case. Came across as a fair and balanced account of the trial and evidence. Thoroughly recommended.

Fascinating

The narration was good and the book went into extreme detail about the Manson family and the associated cases. At times it was hard to focus as there was just so much information being offered. Definitely worth a listen and worth the credit.

Good Insight But A Long Listen
