Wir hatten das Jahr 1945, Juni, und wenige Monate zuvor hatte ich noch recht konkrete Vorstellungen von meiner Zukunft gehabt. Ich war damals neunzehn Jahre alt und hatte in meiner wohl situierten, bürgerlichen Familie – mein Vater war Bankkaufmann – ein Weltbild entwickelt, in dem Sorgen nicht vorkamen.
