تجري أحداث الرواية في عام 2091، بعد أن تمكّن العلماء من اختراع حبة صفراء تحافظ على الشباب!! .. نعم إنّه العلاج السحري لعلامات الزمن وقد أصبح في متناول الجميع على شكل حبة صغيرة صفراء اللون تعيد الحيوية لخلايا الجسد وتحميه من الشيخوخة ومصاعبها وويلاتها لكنّ أبطال هذه الرواية (جنّة وجيهان وجمال وزيد) كان لهم رأيًا مغايرًا لذا سنعيش معهم صراعاتهم الجديدة والكثيرة بدءًا من الشباب الدائم وليس انتهاءًا بالعودة إلى الطفولة ومحو الذاكرة أو استساخ الأحبّاء الذين ذهبوا!..
