About this listen

Hearts Divine is the second part of USA Today best-selling author Catherine Wiltcher's dark and thrilling Santiago Trilogy.

"An intense, dark and twisted story that will send you on a wild and crazy ride of emotions." (Beyond the Covers Blog)

Eve: The FBI is forcing me apart from the man who haunts my dreams. Dante Santiago. My deepest, darkest secret. The man I will never ever betray.

Dante: Together we wiped my past from the face of this earth, but another rose up in his place. An enemy more deadly, more determined. One who will stop at nothing to destroy me.

I run the risk of exposing my angel if I return. I will lose myself to this darkness if I refuse....

Hearts Divine, book two in the Santiago series, was even better than the first. I felt more emotion, more passion, more everything. And there were definitely more secrets. It seemed like every time I turned around (or turned the page metaphorically speaking since I was listening to this enthralling story on audio) another secret about the past or a character in the present was being exposed. It certainly helped to keep things interesting though. The story, as a whole, was thrilling as Eve and Dante searched for the truth and ran into roadblocks or danger that threatened not only their relationship but their lives. The ending of this book was even more shocking then the first book and it makes me immediately want to jump into book three to get the conclusion of this story. Once again both narrators did a great job, and I was beyond happy with their performance. Sarah Puckett is already a narrator I don’t hesitate to listen to but JF Harding is newer on my radar. He definitely stood out for me in this one.

My Thoughts on Hearts Divine

I received this audiobook at my request via promo code from The Flock and this is my honest voluntary review.

I have so much love for part two of this Trilogy.

Dante and Eve have been reunited after the death of his brother Emilio and the fall of the Santiago Cartel, separated as Dante goes on a one man mission to get justice for his daughter Isabella. The origin story to Dante's pain shows you the true level of darkness the man had been capable of and the family that shaped him. Eve Miller is the light to chase back that monster inside him but his investigation leads to truths neither were prepared for. The investigative reporter has battled with her inner demons over having crossing the line into Dantes shadows.Eve is so brave its hard not to love the bones of the woman. The connection between these characters is enthralling. Very eager to see the final installment of this story.

Narration is fantastic.

WOW! Addictive!

Eve and Dante's relationship is alluring. It isn't always easy, it definitely isn't normal, but it is enticing and addicting all the same.

Dante Santiago is no longer anonymous, he's on the most wanted list and his face is splashed across media outlets everywhere.

Eve is devastated at the loss of him, the divide seems endless and the time is torture. How long before he returns for her? Will he ever return for her? Is he lost for good?

These two are electric, slightly toxic, and completely addicting. I love their fierceness. The turmoil that these two have to face seems insurmountable. Can they prevail? Is love enough?

I love seeing the "softer" (I use that word very lightly) side to Dante, the way he is with Eve, even when his intentions are good but the way he addresses them isn't the best. You can feel the turmoil, love, hatred, and everything in between with these two.

JF Harding and Sarah Puckett really brought these characters to life and kept my interest in the story.

Thrilling and unexpected to the end

This is only my third book by Catherine Wiltcher and I love her twisted books. Mafia action and romance that is stark yet beautiful in its execution and writing that is riveting.

This series has grasped me and I can’t let go! I want more now! There’s a major cliffhanger in here again. So much revealed yet so much more to unravel. Dante shouldn’t be someone that is a hero yet the more we hear of him I really think he’s changing and I really believe it’s his love for Eve that is bringing him around.

TF Harding was brilliant with all of the masculine characters voices. He changes them and really brings them to life. I want more of Dante and Joseph. I really loved how emotional both of these big alpha men are with Eve. And Sarah Puckett is the ultimate professional. I really enjoyed her as Eve when she soft hearted and trying to change Dante for the better and really loved when she showed how brave and intelligent she was too! I also love Sarah’s accents. I could listen to her Russian all day long.

If you want a Mafia, suspenseful action filled series this is definitely the one for you.

Now please bring on the finale book soon!

I am addicted to this series. This book has cemented Catherine Wiltcher as a must purchase for me. She really does not disappoint! The narration was fantabulous and definitely added layers to the story and the characters. Everything about this story kept you on the edge of your seat and waiting for more. I was so sad when the last word was said. Amazing story!!

Eve & Dante both have things to overcome, how long will Dante stay away? How much can Eve handle? What happens when emotions reach a crescendo? Will these two be able to overcome all that will be thrown at them? Or will their different lives tear them apart?

The depravity that is our society continues to be exposed in this second book. So many emotions are unraveled. Eve and Dante have their issues but their chemistry a d coming together are unrivaled. I am looking forward to the next book to know the conclusion of their story. I have enjoyed every minute of listening to this book

So dark and heavy

When Dante comes back to Florida for a job, and sees Eve, he can’t resist. He takes her again.

With them being together again, many things come to light… one of these things sends Dante spiraling into darkness… and he sends her away. She’s broken.. and Petrov gets her to go under-cover to break open a trafficking ring. She agrees because of Dante.

This was excellent! There is darkness galore, intrigue, and action you will love!

JF Harding and Sarah Puckett are so good! Their voices and characters are spot on!!!

My heart is beating out of my chest!!!!

Wow! This book is fantastic. I can’t believe the direction the story has taken. Catherine has written such a gripping storyline with fantastic characters that have the perfect balance of ruthlessness and feelings. I’m absolutely hooked. I really cannot wait for the next book in the series. A brilliant performance from both Sarah and JF.

Hearts Divine is book two of Dante and Eve's story. It is not a standalone and ends in quite a cliffhanger. So far this trilogy is intense and kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. It is full of danger, suspense and hot & steamy sex. I can't wait to listen to the final book in this trilogy to see how their story ends. Sarah Puckett and JF Harding did a wonderful job bringing this story to life.
