Great book! The main characters were both strong and likable. The author has given this plot more depth by having them know each other as kids. It also has some fantastic steam scenes lol The narrator did a fantastic job of keeping the story on a good pace. She also did a great job with the voices! Really enjoyed her performance. All in all, this audiobook was definitely 5 stars!

the narrator was good. she did a great job between characters voices, I rather enjoyed listening to her. She made the story easier to keep on going. She had fluctuations in the voices.
the story itself was a bit dull. it started out well but then went down for me. it could be the heroine became more meek and whiny. She kept rehashing the issues from the childhood over and over. There was a lot of sexual kinky aspects. Times I felt the story went off track. It seemed the title and the story line didn't always mash.

If you like second chance romances then you will love this one. Because of something that happened when they were younger, these two have been on the other side of the fence with each other but because of a meddling client, they find their way back together. Very nice book that keeps you interested throughout.
Narration was done beautifully as always when I hear a book by Meghan Kelly.

She’s holding an angry grudge for something that happened to her family years ago when they were children, unfortunately she never got his side. He never told her why he cut off contact and let her continue to be angry and hurt. Will becoming her boss bring them back into their easy friendship? You will definitely ride an emotional roller coasters with this couple, and you’ve got to love Blair’s the eccentric client that forces them to work together. Absolutely loved their story! As always Meghan did an outstanding job in the narrative.

I thought this was an ok story. An enemies to lovers, 2nd chance romance storyline which could have been fleshed out a bit more. This book was more annoying than angsty. I don't like when the cause of the unease or conflict can be resolved with a good conversation but is dragged out longer than necessary.

I totally enjoyed the narrator/narration. She made this story for me.

So, there’s some hidden kink in these two. Which caught me off guard. Vanilla style office romance...wait, what did she say she wanted!? And right back to Vanilla style story. The narrator is amazing! The storyline itself is kinda wonky, but you still have an enjoyable listen. 🎧 AudiobookObsession

I overall enjoyed this story. I things the narrator did an okay job at playing both the male and female characters in the story I only gave it four stars I think I would prefer to male just for a bigger differentiation between the two. As for the story while I enjoyed in thought it was a good listen it wasn't one of my faves only because I like to see a stronger female character. I didn't think the author did a great job with the actual storyline and us getting to know the characters. I definitely feel like this is both a hate to lovers but could also be categorized as a second chance romance because of their past. While I did give it four stars I would recommend it.

I liked this story and from the description it was the sort of thing I would usually read. The characters were interesting and had thoughtful and capturing back stories that helped you feel invested in them early in the story. The sexy bits were ok if a bit corse for me, I prefer a bit more emotional connection and inner dialogue. The narration was good with easily definable voices for all the different characters which is important when you are trying to differentiate between them. Overall this was a fun and entertaining story, I would've liked a bit more fleshing out of the story and romance parts.

The story is about Remi and Justin's who families were neighbours and they were best friends that get torn apart due to their parents hate for each other.
Years later , the two meet up when Remi's boss gets fired and the promotion she was going for is given to Justin. In order to get a big advertising client they have to work together. While they were working together oh the steam ... wow

Great book. Written well. Narrator is fantastic, brilliant humour that Meghan makes you feel. I was laughing so much at some points I had to pause it so I could pull myself together!
