About this listen
Don't miss the perfect Christmas present for yourself (or for that best friend who would definitely help you hide a body…)
–––––––––––––––––––––
Anna's Christmas Eve To Do List:
1. Wrap the kids' presents
2. Peel the potatoes
3. Get rid of the dead body?!
Hungover and exhausted after her family's annual party, all Anna Johnson wants for Christmas is to finish her to-do list and finally sit down with the world’s biggest glass of wine.
But when she stumbles across a dead body in her larder, her plans are well and truly buggered.
A mysterious death in her home really is the last thing she needs, but with her judgemental in-laws arriving in less than twenty-four hours, turning her house into a crime scene is not an option. If she’s going to save Christmas, it’s up to Anna to find out what the hell’s gone on. Oh – and figure out what to do with the body before one of the kids finds it.
And you thought burning the turkey was the worst that could happen…

Fun cosy Christmas murder
A fun story, very relatable and easy to listen to. Looking forward to next year’s already. Performance was good, some parts seemed to cut out but unsure if this a connection issue or editing issue.

Brilliant!
I was hooked on this one right from the get go! So much so that I actually purchased the audio book so that I could keep reading whilst on the go as I didn’t want to stop!
The police duo were like a comedy act and they made me chuckle with their stupidity. I really enjoyed reading how Anna processed the suspects and used her detective skills to narrow them down and ultimately figure out who the killer was. I absolutely loved the banter and dark humour that was portrayed right through the book by all the character - even the kids were funny! There were moments that literally had me laughing out loud. Such a fantastic bunch of characters!
The ending was sweet and I liked how the epilogue has set us up waiting and wanting for next Christmas already, to see what adventures it will bring for Anna and her family!
A fun, quick and quirky Christmas read - I would definitely recommend this one!

Funny and easy to listen to book
I did enjoy this and it was funny in parts although I did get a little bit board in the middle but it kept me interested enough to find out who the killer was.

Made me laugh
From the start, apart from the murder lol. The stress of Christmas just made me laugh because it was so true to a lot of houses near Christmas.
