About this listen

Imagine a world where personal and professional growth are combined, where improving your relationships and owning your strengths at work translate directly into the rest of your life.

Creating a company culture like that is not a dream. Through personal stories and real-life conversations, Jonathan Raymond takes you into the room with managers and employees where real culture change happens and shows you a new kind of employee mentoring where each person gets the real-time feedback, support, and clear boundaries we all need to get beyond the patterns that hold us back.

In this provocative and timely new book, Jonathan brings together what he has learned over a 20-year journey as an executive, an entrepreneur, a team leader, and a leadership trainer. Combining his experience as the CEO and CBO of EMyth, where he led the transformation of a global coaching brand with the lessons learned along his own personal growth journey, Jonathan walks us through a step-by-step approach that integrates the leading edges of both. You'll discover a way to lead your team that is both profoundly human and results-oriented at the same time.

Whether you're a CEO or business owner, an executive, a team leader, a consultant, or a coach, Good Authority will give you new ideas and inspiration you can put into practice. Most importantly, it will give you permission to be more of who you are at work than you ever thought possible.

As I am at the beginning of my work career, I felt guided through what it means to lead. Great structure and content of the book, as well as enjoyable reading voice. This book inspires me to know more about leadership and myself.

Great guidebook how to lead

One of the best books I listened to on the topic of leadership at the workplace. I also absolutely love the concept that he is putting forward - how to get results through human conversations about growth and owning one’s responsability instead of being “the bad boss”.

A transformational book for people leaders

Short, engaging to listen to, and I think both experienced and new managers will find a lot of useful information in here. There were times when I thought it strayed a little too much into personal development for your team, but it was always in a professional context. If you're interested in mentoring as much as leading then you will definitely get a lot from this.

Must read for managers

Resourceful and Team management simplified and on point.

It was easy to follow and understand with examples and role play.

Loved the first 2/3 of this audiobook. Last part was a bit slow. However, very interesting and some useful approaches to apply.
