A cracking yarn that ties up all the loose ends. my only complaint is that the finale feels a little rushed. the confrontation is good but the MC never quite feels hes mastered it all. that said it does tie off well.

the sudden switch from lovers to parent is still a bit jarring and the romance at the end deserved a chapter of its own (with the thief certainly!) butnits good that Emeline got her time to shine.

i wouldnt object to more stories in this universe, maybe we can see the children, see what other inventions Gabriel decides to push for in the world.
