About this listen
Dr. Hawkins elaborates on his personal growth, physical challenges, and the different aspects of self-healing available through the power of A Course in Miracles. He shares his personal experience with alcohol and his journey "out of hell". Elaborating on how we are subject to only what we hold in mind, he takes us through his fascinating journey of self-healing. "Ultimately," he says, "the Course leads us to a deep joy and peace in understanding that we are not separate. We are truly one and have always been so. From top to bottom, there is nothing that we can’t change by paying attention to the concepts of the Course."
©2014 David R. Hawkins (P)2014 Veritas PublishingThe overall gist is that when you get to lesson 70 of ACIM your ailments should start to disappear -- Dr Hawkins does cover this in other presentations, so this may not be the best of them.

What would have made Giving Up Illness Through 'A Course in Miracles' better?
This was a recording of a talk to an audience and the sound quality was poor. I couldn't hear a lot of the questions and gave up before the end. What did you like best about this story?
The content of the talk was extremely interesting. I wish Dr Hawkins would make a studio recording of this talk.Did David R. Hawkins do a good job differentiating each of the characters? How?
It was a factual talk- not fiction. What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
I thought the subject matter was inspiring. But the sound quality was disappointing.Any additional comments?
If Dr Hawkins did studio recordings of his talks, I would be very interested in listening to them, but this format didn't work for me.Interesting content but poor sound quality
