About this listen

The Ancient Epic of Gilgamesh Brought to Life

In the ancient world after the Flood, the sons of Noah fill the Earth. Wickedness reigns.

One giant warrior king named Gilgamesh sets out on an epic journey to seek eternal life in a land filled with death.

Accompanied by his only friend, the wild-man Enkidu, his quest takes them from a giant’s forest, to the mountain of the gods, to the Path of the Sun in the Underworld....

And ultimately to a distant magical island to find the one man granted divine favor during the Deluge: Noah.

The secret Gilgamesh discovers will change history forever.

Gilgamesh Immortal is the third book of the Biblical Fiction Series Chronicles of the Nephilim, a biblical epic story of the fallen angelic Watchers and their offspring, the Nephilim giants of Genesis 6.

I’ve always wanted to read the story of Gilgamesh but the thought of a heavy tome put me off. Not so with this audio by Brian Godawa. The narrative was so descriptive, and told at times with humour, that the story was enthralling. I am looking forward to listening to further audio books about the heroes of yore coming back to life.

A story that comes to life

Although this book concentrated on the ‘evil’ offspring of the ‘gods’, it was a fun read. I did question why Gilgamesh came across as not that evil, it all unfolded as the story progressed. Now onto the next book.

Overall enjoyable and action packed

This was my first book by Brian. I have to say it captivated me and infused me to move to the next and the next and so on. I'm on the watchers the appocolips and the Nephilim and I'm dreading them all ending

It was a well delivered story of the epic of Gilgamesh. I wanted to hear more of Gilgamesh’s transition into Nimrod in Babylon ☀️

An awesome story
