I have read/listened to all her books, and this was another great listen. the story line was fantastic and authentic of the time and area. Brought back memories of my life living close to Ilford and the clubs which were around.

As with all Martina Cole novels, this is another fast paced ride through the criminal underworld which you'll sneak minutes to listen to. But the narrator is something else...she doesn't just read, she acts, and she acts like she knows this novel and you get the feeling that she has bothered to work out how the characters should be read to best effect. An absolute corker.
