Everyone seems to know about Coolsocial, a fun social media app, except Gerry, and this gets him teased by Adam and his friends.

So Gerry decides to follow suit, eager and ready to make some new online friends. But things don’t turn out the way he had hoped, and all he can do now is what he loves most – give Mr. Bottles, his furry cat, some belly rubs.

Might this be the answer to everything?

The dramatized reading was quite cool. I liked how it gave Adam and Gerry their personalities, in addition to how the character is written, of course. Then the takeaway was 100%. I like that the story is short enough that you can use it as a tool when talking to your kids about the internet, social media and the things that go on there.

This book covers an important topic, and teaching this to young kids is crucial. I enjoyed the story and the lesson it is teaching. It's about a young boy who experiences cyberbullying but manages to turn his situation around when one of his cat videos goes viral, and he gains lots of new friends and contacts. The bullies eventually approach him to apologize and ask if he wants to hang out and if they can play with his cat. It is an educational story, although quite short as an audiobook, about 4 minutes long.

If you’re looking for a book that’s perfect for kids and tackles the tricky topic of cyberbullying, you’ve found it.

The story revolves around Gerry, who’s initially mocked for not being into the latest social media trends. His fortunes change when a video of his cat goes viral, and he gains popularity online, leading to a happy resolution with his bullies.

What I liked is that the book presents a clear and straightforward message about cyberbullying: Don’t write mean things about other people online.

The language is simple enough for younger kids to follow along. The narrator is perfect for smaller children - he is full of energy and does a great job with all the character voices.

This is a great book to entertain your children while teaching them a valuable lesson. And I think it’s perfect for starting conversations about social media and bullying with your kids. Definitely recommended.
