The story is nail bitingly good. Loving the new narrator. Much more authentic with the Aberdeen accent. Well done!

The narrator changed from the first two books, and I knew this ahead of time. I appreciated that the local pronunciations were accurate this time. While a shift in narration can be jarring, I found it acceptable and it didn’t lessen my enjoyment of the novel. Once again, it was a well-crafted mystery, and the author continues to improve with each book. I’ve grown quite fond of the four detectives and look forward to the next installment in the series.
