Real and honest-feeling life story so far
Football, being a girl, loving yourself and others, failing and getting up again. There is so much I love about this book and the story it tells. It invited me as a reader to view some of my own life experiences in a different light and simultaneously want to be a better version of myself. I loved learning more about someone I knew little about, playing a sport I have my own complicated relationship with (football/soccer). Such a good read.

The best sports autobio I've read!
Read this! Abby is nnot self seeking in terms of her reputation . She is doing what we all do find out WHO we are. A brilliant listen and a woman who is modest, bright and driven and very gifted.
Highly recommended.

A human story - honest and inspiring
I’ve listened to Abby, Glennon and Amanda for years on the podcast - we can do hard things - and I have always felt my consciousness shift by the space they hold. Listening to Abby’s words in this book has been a joy. To hear her talk about love, identity, passion, belonging and self acceptance in such an honest and fearless way has felt like a wonderful gift to the world. This is a human story and is all the more powerful for Abby’s fearlessness in showing all sides to the complexity of being human. Thank you for writing this book Abby!

Beautifully written (spoken)
Thank you for telling your story with such grace Abby. I just listened to Untamed and wanted to know more about the person who Glennon spoke with with such love and affection, which lead me to your book. I finished both in 3 days! Hungry for a sequel :-)

Couldn’t stop listening
I know nothing about football but I couldn’t put this down. Abby’s life story is really quite something. I have a new found respect for paid athletes and the mental difficulties and road blocks that appear in their lives. She was so honest, forthcoming and admirable. I found her easy to listen to and just found the story so engaging. It just shows, you can never assume you know everything about anyone. Emotionally educational and Abby I commend you on a fantastic read that I finished in 2 days ! 😁

A great read
I really enjoyed this memoir by Abby. She is open and honest even about things she'd probably rather forget. A very insightful, interesting and funny memoir. A great role model and pioneer of womens football. I really enjoyed the narration too.

Brilliant and completely honest
I loved this book. Abby was really transparent throughout and the love she carries for others shone through along with her passion the best the best at what she does, on and off the pitch
