Sara is walking home from work one night. She hears police sirens and takes a different route than normal to avoid any trouble. On her detour, she inadvertently witnesses a man being shot by a group of men in suits. But they see her....

The men grab Sara and discuss how they can dispose of her. She tries to convince them that she'll keep quiet, but they don't believe her. "Promises mean nothing," another one says sharply. "Dead witnesses can't talk."

The men mutter among themselves for a few seconds, and Sara tries to escape, but to no avail. She slammed powerfully into the wall of a person standing right behind her.

Just as the other guys recognize that she's restrained once again, the man pulls her to one side and away from everyone else. He then bundles her into a car and they speed off.

Is Sara being rescued or dragged into deeper danger?

An extremely interesting short 'naught'y book. Looking for something to grab your attention for an hour and a half this is your book. Kept my attention all the way through. Slightly rushed story line, but, still easily enjoyable.

Simone Carter does it again ! so In this book we start off with our female lead, shes a little broken by life,her ex and the loss of her family ties due to said ex, she thinks this a low point a plateau but then BAAAM! something happens and after narrowly escaping death gets whisked away by her savior but can she trust his motives?should she follow him blindly?does she even have a choice given whats happening?I always find myself yelling in my head at characters like this as my Dad would a football match on TV .Simone managed to make this erotic but not hardcore erotica and kept me engaged throughout. Lissa Blackwell gave a fantastic performance ,a good team and a good short story. This story is in a 5 book collection which I recommend as the other short storys are just as great and spicy with a good story line. I'm adding this here as my review for that is pending at the moment.

I found this to be an ok story about a girl who unwittingly saw a murder being committed by a mafia gang. She is rescued by a handsome stranger who she falls madly in love with. However all is not as it seems on the surface. A good short story nicely read with feeling.
