I loved this book so much I listened to it twice. A topic like this could run this risk of not sounding editing but the author and narrator did such a great job of keeping me engaged.

I also liked that the author was honest enough to highly recommend taking along other guides as a good practice for cross referencing.

It was fun learning about the different plants out there and the practical tips about staying safe.

Good job.

Would recommend.

Informative and practical

ahh, i love plants and foraging has to be my next hobby on list. The narration and audio book itself is so soothing to hear. The author has put up the basic guide on how to identify edible plants and indulge ourselves in foraging. I must say the ideas and strategies author has shared with us are something nobody tells us. The book consists of tips and tricks to identify plants, mostly the edible ones and make it our everyday hobby. Very informative!

I like how easy this book is to understand. It's a resource for beginners, and professional botanists could also benefit from it.
The remedies and food sources that are mentioned throughout this book are really handy to know; also, the recipes and foraging according to the season were very inspiring! Well written and narrated- I highly recommend this guide!

This may be an obscure reference to some, but the first thing I thought of when starting this book was the scene from The Hunger Games when Peeta almost accidentally poisons himself with perfectly normal looking berries. That would be me if left on my own. Either that or I’d starve to death, fearing that anything I ate would kill me. That being said, this is definitely a good book for beginners like me, particularly if you live in the Midwest. You’ll learn what tools you need and the very important safety rules. Starts with the basics, as it should, and builds from there. Great guide, definitely recommend.

Those berries may look tasty....
