About this listen
Sometimes relationships come along that define you.
Someone who brings out sides of you that no one else sees.
The reason that you try to be the best version of yourself.
Savannah Abbott was my North Star growing up.
She was my best friend, my neighbor, and the person who knew me best.
But without warning, she was gone in the blink of an eye.
My life began unraveling the day she left Magnolia Falls.
Because apparently, when you lose the best thing in your life, it’s all downhill from there.
But I’m a survivor—and I forced myself to move on.
My guard went up, and my ability to trust people disappeared.
Until the day Savannah came back to town—more than a decade later.
And now she’s acting like I’m the enemy.
She wants nothing to do with me, even all these years later.
Until she needs a favor.
A temporary husband.
I may not be the marrying type, but for Savannah, I’m willing to bend the rules.
None of this is real, and she reminds me of that every day while we’re playing house.
I may fight fires for a living, but my new wife is a flame that I don’t want to extinguish.
She’s the fire that’s been missing all along.

Sweet & emotional
This was another sweet romance, filled with emotions, broken hearts, a bit of miscommunication, healing, hope & family.
Hayes is the grumpy one, and we finally understand why. Savannah is back and the past is going to get settled.
Watching Hayes & Savannah fall hard and Hayes being happy was such a wonderful story.
There was so much emotion, Abe’s passing, Savannah’s dad’s health, past hurts, and present frustrations. Hayes and Savannah have a lot going on, but that doesn’t stop them from falling hard for former best friends.
There is so much love and passion, friendship, hope, grace and forgiveness.
As always with our R-O-D crew there is plenty of banter, snark, and love. These guys have a strong bond, a found family & brotherly love.
This had me in my feels and I am so happy for our guys.
The narration was absolutely amazing, Andi Arndt & Lee Samuels were the perfect match.

Loved!
4.25 stars
Gah! What a great end to this amazing series!!!
Hayes and Savannah, man it broke my heart learning about what kept them separated, but I was so here for the marriage of convenience and forced proximity aspect, as well as it being grumpy sunshine! Such an awesome combo of tropes! They had such amazing chemistry and banter! I love their nicknames for each other and the way Hayes softens for Savannah. They just have such a special connection. The letters definitely had me in my feels!
I love this whole friend/ found family group. How they razz each other and the support is just beautiful! I loved how this whole story flowed and things happened that I was hoping for so it made my heart so happy! Such a wonderful book and series! Plus these narrators were absolutely incredible!

The perfect ending to this standout series
Laura Pavlov’s Magnolia Falls series is my all time favourite romance series and I have so much love for all the Ride or Die guys, their girls, and of course, my number one little man, Beefcake! I’m so sad to see it end, but to say that Finding Hayes is the perfect ending is an understatement.
Finding Hayes follows grumpy, cynical firefighter Hayes (and last man standing in the Ride or Die crew), whose world is turned upside down when his childhood best friend Savannah comes back into town. Hayes never found out why Savannah ghosted him when he needed her the most, but when Savannah needs to find a husband within 30 days to secure her inheritance, he doesn’t hesitate to help her. All he needs to do now is not fall in love with her . . .
This was such a bittersweet read, but I devoured every word. Finding Hayes is a small town, second chance, friends to lovers, marriage of convenience romance that ticks all my favourite trope boxes! When done properly, friends to lovers stories hit differently, and this one punched me straight in the feels with its perfect mix of yearning, sweet romance and epic spice!
Hayes and Savannah were adorable together. One of my favourite micro tropes is the ‘hates everyone but her’ and to see someone as closed off as Hayes fall so hard and fast for Savannah made my heart sing! Savannah was sweet, loyal and caring and Hayes underwent so much character growth with her back in his life. He started to open up and finally believe that he deserved happiness. There were quite a few sniffle inducing moments, but in true Laura Pavlov style, these were outweighed by the brilliant humour sprinkled throughout. The boys’ group chat was always hilarious and King was his ridiculous self. He never failed to have me in stitches!
I adored seeing how the other couples were getting on and growing their families and I love the close knit sisterhood that the girls had formed. Emmerson’s brother Easton featured and there were some intriguing hints as to his story and I seriously can’t wait. Laura always includes great crossover between series, so I’m glad to know that this is not the last we’ll see of the Magnolia Falls crew.
With the perfect mix of family, humour and heart, Finding Hayes is the bittersweet but beautiful ending to a stand out series. It’s safe to say that a piece of my heart will always belong in Magnolia Falls!
Audio:
After reading the ebook, I dived straight into the audio and if it’s possible to improve on perfection, then Andie Arndt and Lee Samuels did just that! Andie is one of my fav FMC narrators and never fails to deliver. I love her vocal range and the emotion she puts into her delivery. This is the first time I’ve heard Lee’s narration and I wasn’t disappointed! He perfectly portrayed grumpy Hayes, and the vast range of emotions he goes through on his path to an HEA with Savvy.
Every audio in this series has been fabulous, and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Hayes & Savannnah
Grumpy Hayes has been melting our hearts since the beginning of the series. Finally we meet the woman who melts his. Andi Arndt and Lee Samuels were amazing as the funny and witty Savannah and the surly and broody Hayes.
Their story was a great conclusion to the series as we get to listen about all the couples and what’s going on in their lives after their HEA.

Finding Hayes
I swear this series just keeps getting better and better. This grumpy/sunshine, friends to enemies to lovers was so captivating I didn't want to put it down. This book is emotional and sweet, and all the things a good romance book should be. I loved it.

Perfect end to the series
This was the perfect ending to this series! I’ve become so emotionally attached to this group of characters (but I think I always do with Laura’s books!) I never wanted it to end (I’m going for a second generation series with our boy beefcake please Laura!!) the bond between this group of friends shone so brightly throughout but I felt like Laura tied it all together perfectly in Hayes and Savannah’s story.
This was such a well written marriage of convenience, I loved the history the Savannah and Hayes shared and how they worked through their misunderstanding that causes them to be a part for a decade. Even though Savannah was the one who would gain the most from their arrangement I loved that she went above and beyond to try and help Hayes benefit from it too.
I also really appreciated that although there definitely some miscommunication, it comes from their younger selves and doesn’t affect the relationship they develop as adults, they work through it and Laura really showed the broody, grumpy Hayes for the big softy we knew he was going to be! Savannah was so likeable as she stood her ground on so much and also always looked out for Hayes even when she hadn’t truly forgiven him, her strong sense of family really showed how easily she’d fit in with the ROD crew!
As usual Beefcake stole the show with his hard hitting and incredibly valid points and the love that pours out of him for everyone his life! I love that he had no hesitation adding Savvy to his girls and taking every opportunity he got to talk up his Uncle Hayes and make sure Savannah knew how great he was! Laura gets me every time with her text exchanges, and this group of friends were no different, their w]banter and love for one another made this series so incredible and I’m so glad they all got their happily ever after!
Lee Samuel’s and Andi Ardnt absolutely nailed Hayes and Savannah, I’d listen to absolutely anything these two narrate but I felt like they captured both characters perfectly, LS really showcased Hayes grumpy for everyone but Savannah (and beefcake!) personal whilst AA emphasised the likeable sunshine personality of Savannah! Safe to say I’ll be listening to this one again and again!

Finding Hayes concludes the Magnolia Falls series and I’m so sad for it to end, I 100% didn’t cry during the epilogue… But I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Emerson’s Brother Easton next!

A Bittersweet Ending!
Why must this series end!? I have absolutely loved getting to know the characters of Magnolia Falls. They have all warmed my heart, but this grumpy firefighter was absolutely the one to steal it forever!
I adored getting to see Savannah & Hayes's story play out. These two were absolutely perfect for each. I loved that they had a history together! It made their banter that much more fun! I wasn't happy that it was Savannah that caused Hayes heartbreak, but when she comes back to town, needing a husband and reconnected with Hayes.....oh how she redeemed herself in my eyes.
𝐴𝑛𝑑𝑖 𝐴𝑟𝑛𝑑𝑡 was a great choice for Sav! She has a beautiful voice that flows and captures the listener. 𝐿𝑒𝑒 𝑆𝑎𝑚𝑢𝑒𝑙𝑠....I've only listened to two other books with him as a narrator but I am so glad he was chosen to voice Hayes! He was perfection! He truly brought out the grumpiness of Hayes and all the Swoonworthy moments!
From grumpy/sunshine, to small town firefighter, to found family, banter and marriage of convenience, 𝙻𝚊𝚞𝚛𝚊 𝙿𝚊𝚟𝚕𝚘𝚟 rounded out this series beautifully. It's bittersweet to see this series end, but I know she's going to throw her fans an epic story when she delivers her next one!
If you love witty characters, small town vibes, great chemistry & sizzle, then grab this one up today and fall in love with the best grumpy firefighter and the Shortcake that stole his heart!

Loved Hayes and Savannah!
4/4.5 stars - Finding Hayes was a sweet ending to this wonderful series! I have loved every single couple in this series and Hayes and Savannah were no different. They were once the best of friends but have since gone years without speaking because of some miscommunication and Savannah moving away with her Dad as a teen. I enjoyed how they easily became friends again in spite of Savannah having to remember to hate him. Beefcake has been my most favorite character in this series and always look forward to him being with the group. Overall, a cute storyline that kept my interest throughout with a good mix of drama and spice. The ending was everything and such a special way to end this series. If you enjoy small town romance and marriage of convenience with a touch of enemies to lovers, I would highly recommend this book.
Narrators Andi Arndt and Lee Samuels were a good cast for these characters and truly brought the emotions out in the story. A very enjoyable and entertaining listen.

Love visiting Magnolia Falls!
Oh Laura Pavlov, how I have loved the Magnolia Falls series! This is the last one, and I have enjoyed them all! This one has all my favorites and I love hanging out with Beefcake again! He is a treat all by himself. This book features Hayes and Savannah. Best friends in high school until something pulls them apart. Now a decade later, she is back, and needs to be married within 30 days to inherit an estate of a dear friend. Hayes takes on the mission, but is the marriage just on paper? True chemistry, miscommunications, good friends, maturing, finding peace and love, this story has it all. There is nothing better than a chance like Hayes and Savy have. Plus getting to text and hang with all the gang is just icing on the cake. This series is like coming home and the best of everything.
Andi Arndt and Lee Samuels are phenomenal together as they bring Savannah and Hayes alive. Arndt pulls out all the emotions Savannah feels, from the hurt as a teen to the love as a woman. Samuels is so good as Hayes, knowing what he wants, but still hesitant about what the future brings. Loved these two and enjoyed this listen.

Peas & Carrots 🫛💚🥕🧡
So happy we finally got Hayes's story 💜 These two are adorable together and such a great fit. Former friends who have harboured so much anger for each other over assumptions and lack of communication, finally thrown together again. When Savannah comes back to town, Hayes steps in to help during her time of grief for a mutually beneficial arrangement. Forced-to-pretend leads to resurfacing issues and required resolutions, but also new revelations. Hayes and Savannah will have to get on the same page if they are going to turn this marriage of convenience into forever together.
The audio for this was lovely! Andi and Lee sound great together and have very similar pacing which gives us smooth transitions between chapters. I particularly enjoyed how Lee read Hayes's letters in Savannah's POV as it gave the moment more emotional intensity.
3.5/5 story, 4/5 narration
