About this listen

“If you love a Law & Order marathon and binged True Detective in one go, Exeter might be your new favorite podcast.” (The New York Times)

Following the shocking reveals of season one, Colleen and Pruitt are forced to reopen a highly controversial cold case, which happens to be one Colleen could never solve. During the investigation into the murder of a pair of beloved local teens, they are forced to investigate their own friends and family. In order to finally put the case to rest, they must find new leads from an eight-year-old case, sift through long-buried secrets, and get to the shocking truth of what really happened.

Season two of hit crime podcast Exeter reunites Jeanne Tripplehorn (Big Love, Criminal Minds), Ray McKinnon (Dopesick, Sons of Anarchy), and an all-star cast.

Note: Listeners do not have to start Exeter on season one. There is progression from season to season, but each season can stand on its own and does not have to be listened to in order.

Excellent

If you have listened to number one well two I think is even better. Great characters very well acted. Every plot line has a twist right until the end.

Ronnie Gunter excels again in Exeter

Exeters second season doesn't disappoint. Writer/ director Ronnie Gunter delivers the goods again. In spades!! Following on but quite separate to season 1 this can be enjoyed on its own or as part of the whole series.

These characters are taking on a life of their own, again voiced by a truly exceptional cast. This is first rate stuff.
Sound design is so good I feel like a fly on the wall/windscreen.

This is not an audiobook. This is full cast drama with cinematic sound. Give it go.

Excellent BUT

I have enjoyed this podcast so much,my ONLY issue I have with any of it is the fact that dialogue continues with eating and drinking noises. For anyone with misophonia that means that block of dialogue is missed because it can't be listened to.This is the only podcast or similar audio performance I've ever had this issue with but it can't only be me that's affected by it. Otherwise the whole thing is superb.

Performance is great

I loved this dramatisation, one of the best examples of radio drama out there.
The suspense is going all through and the characters are well formed
