Erinnerung (eng. Original: Memory) ist eine Kurzgeschichte des amerikanischen Horror- und Science-Fiction-Autors H. P. Lovecraft, die 1919 geschrieben und im Mai 1923 in The National Amateur veröffentlicht wurde. "Erinnerung" verwendet viele von Lovecrafts üblichen Bildern und Ideen, wie Relikte der tiefen Vergangenheit und Dinge "ohne Namen". Auch seine Vorliebe für riesige, monolithische Ruinen (ein Favorit vieler anderer Cthulhu- und Horrorautoren) wird in der komplizierten Beschreibung dieser Geschichte deutlich. Diese Geschichte spielt im alten Tal von Nis, in von Vegetation bedeckten Steinruinen, die von Lovecraft sehr detailliert beschrieben wird. Durch den Grund dieses Tals fließt der große Fluss Than.
