Where do I even start? When I started this series, the length of each book was daunting. I thought, this better be good for the time investment. Not only is is good, but it's one of my top listens for the year. Each book builds on the last. Each one a movie in my mind. Each one invested my heart and soul as I got to know all the characters better and now it's over! And it's fabulous. Nicole Fanning knocks it out of the park with the entire package. Jaxon, Natalie, Jessica, Rachel, Adam, Ethan, Levi,Wes, and Michael are characters just to name a few that stand out as people I feel like I know. Each has flaws and strengths. Some are innocent while others are so guilty it's impossible to see past their brutality. But in the end, Fanning ties it all together with a few twists and turns I know I didn't see coming. And it is completely satisfying. This is a series that will stick with me for a long time, and will remain on my suggested listed for those that love a good listen.

Maxine Mitchell and Grayson Owens finish out their incredible narration of the series. Consistent from book to book, each character has their own voice, easy to know who is speaking and the emotional content is beyond impeccable. Heart wrenching, scary, daunting, surprising, loving, passionate, you name it, these two nailed every feeling and made this one of the best listens I have heard.

just funished the series and can honestly say that i laughed out loud and then cryed ugly the porformance from geayson and maxine were fantastic the emotions in it were iff the charts

What a way to finish the series. Loved these books really enjoyed it. I love mafia romance. All the drama and intense moments. The fights and not knowing what’s coming next. The tears and laughs. The spicy in these books were just top notch ! With Grayson Ownes and Maxine Mitchell and their amazing narration I love it !! They really bring the emotions out the book and really make you feel them. Amazing books so well written absolute page turner I highly recommend these books especially the audiobooks.

Holy Moly! What a conclusion to the series. I’ve lived every one of these books and I’m happy to see it’s been left open to explore more and branch off into other characters stories. Brilliant storyline, excellent narration, the best series I think I’ve ever read. Thank you Nicole, Grayson and Maxine for delivering such an exhilarating series, I really hope there are future plans to explore other stories 🤞❤️

The “Heart of the Inferno” series is one of my top audiobook listens for the year and what a great way to end the year, with “Embers”, the last book of the series. If you have not started this series yet, you need to and you will be happy that you did. Nicole Fanning is a gifted author and a masterful storyteller, the entire series is incredible, the storylines, world building and character growth and development are exceptional and it is amazing how she kept the momentum for the entire series, there was never a dull moment. This book picks up after the third book “Flash Point and its companion novel, “Lies in the Dark” ended and I love how she brings it all together, how it all comes to a head. All the ongoing storylines, with one exception, are resolved, in one way or another. Jaxon Pace and Natalie are a great couple and a great team, and together they can conquer the world and then some. There are a lot of amazing support characters too, Ethan, Wesley, and Levi were some of my favorites, even Rachel and Adam grew on me by the end. This explosive and action-packed story has the perfect balance of drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, some charming moments, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Nicole Fanning, two fist beats against my heart for you, thank you for such an amazing and impressive story. It was a wild and emotional rollercoaster ride, you had me smiling, frowning, laughing, and crying. I am going to miss these characters, I hope we this is not the last that we see of them or this phenomenal world you created. 

🎧 📚🎧 Maxine Mitchell’s and Grayson Owens’ outstanding performance continues and their talent truly shines as they bring these characters and story to life. Their character voices have been consistent throughout out the series and the quality of their audio is top-notch. I loved how they took their roles and made them their own, sounding believable and just as I imagined they would sound. They not only nailed it in the roles of the two lead characters, but all the secondary characters too. You could hear how much heart and passion they put into their work as they capture all the characters’ emotions and project them into their performance, making you feel them all. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances this already brilliant story to another level. Thank you for another amazing listen.
