Sie war eine der ersten feministischen Theoretikerinnen. Sie forderte die gleiche Bildung für Jungen und Mädchen und eine ökonomische Unabhängigkeit der Frau. Elisabeth Plessen (eigentlich Elisabeth Charlotte Marguerite Auguste Gräfin von Plessen; geb. 1944) ist eine deutsche Schriftstellerin und Übersetzerin, die auch für den Rundfunk gearbeitet hat.
