About this listen

Fans have been waiting for Brandi’s scoop on one of the biggest divorces of the decade since her husband of eight years abandoned her and their two sons to marry country singer LeAnn Rimes. Not only does Brandi spill the beans about her side of the split, but the lovable housewife also shares the incredible wild ride that took her from a life in the ghetto to Hollywood’s most elite circles.

For the first time, Brandi talks about how she escaped a rough neighborhood on the outskirts of Sacramento and stumbled into a successful modeling career that swept her into a world of Paris Fashion Weeks, private jets, and uncircumcised penises. Before she knew it, Brandi was the perfect Hollywood trophy wife - at least until her marriage exploded.

Today, the refreshingly filter-free housewife and unapologetic mom is the newest full-time cast member of Bravo’s juggernaut franchise, where she often elicits raised eyebrows and gossip from her costars for her refusal to be the scorned ex-wife, to be bullied, to change her sarcastic sense of humor, or - on most occasions - to wear a bra.

Sassy, raunchy, and compulsively listenable, Drinking and Tweeting perfectly captures Brandi’s open-book attitude, as she dishes about everything from her DUI, her cheating ex, her one-night stands, and the secret plastic surgery that made her “17” again.

the book is very good. author has potty mouth but is very funny all the same. the story of a divorce and sour relationship with ex. but author is a survivor and is witty, sweet, funny and gorgeous looking so am sure will meet someone she deserves in the future after being married to a serially unfaithful rat. I recommended this to several friends and they loved it to. highly recommend.

sweet and sour but excellent

I absolutely loved this book and finished it in a day. Brandi had me crying, laughing and crying with laughter in every chapter.

Amazing!

Very Brandi. Makes for a really light listen, at moments heart warming. But unfortunately outdated, although she adds commentaries to bring it to the present

Light to listen

Got audible just for this book bc hearing brandi narrate seemed a lot more fun than feeling like I was rotting my brain by actually reading a brandi glanville book and I'm so glad I did! I found myself laughing out loud numerous times or gasping because of course she doesn't hold back AT ALL! (and I expected no less!)
Anyways what makes the audible version so great is that brandi frequently adds her own little commentary and often disagrees with what she's written because it was so long ago which makes the slightly outdated moments a lot less cringy. Also she literally is crying while narrating in part of it, I mean it feels way more natural, I feel if I had read the book it would have sounded a lot more forced and less brandi! Anyways in terms of the actual content if like me you didn't know much about brandis past this book leaves no stone unturned, definitely found it informative and interesting. 5/5 imo😌
