Simon Haynes has that very unique ability to convey great humour in everyday dialogue. Sardonicism and to a lesser degree sarcasm, are often difficult to convey within the written or spoken word without an accompanying visual - Simon Haynes has no such problem and does it with so much humour. The double entendres are tastefully used and are never offensive (for those of a more puritanical disposition).
I had got used to the Australian accent of Graeme Hague whilst listening to Hal Spacejock and I must confess it has grown on me. If I was to be a bit 'picky' there are the occasional words that are mispronounced but by no means any big deal. I'd readily listen to Graeme Hague's narrations anytime!
I must confess I wasn't sure I was going to like Dragon & Chips simply because I got hooked on the futuristic stories of Hal Spacejock - but Dragons and Chips by no means disappointed with the story and characters. I could write a spoiler or two but trust me - If your a Hal Spacejock/Clunk fan your love Dragon and chips.
