About this listen

After spending time with the bearmancers of Vetrusca, I have a new mission.

It will take me into the heart of a desert land with a new kind of mancer, where the people are ruled by the iron fist of a tyrant. If there's one thing I love, it's mancer women, and if there's one thing I hate, it's tyrants.

Good thing I'm the Dragon Breeder and know how to deal with both.

each book is a great self contained adventure leaving just enough setup for the major arc against the shadow nations.

this one has a slightly sterotypical "arabian" setup with a sinister ruler, slaves and some fantastically descriptive combat scenes, as well as more screen time for Renji and Tamsin, always fun! hannah is still great as the bear mancer - the voice actors do fabulous work bringing each character to live with a distinct voice consistently.

cant wait for the next one!

another great instalment
