Another dimension
Great characters, great story and pure fantasy escapism. Loved every minute and devoured it in only two listens. Off to start the next in the series. A unique style and has no need to compared to others. An outstanding listen

Fantastic spinoff series.
I was a little dubious about listening to a spinoff series, since I loved the Chronicles of St Mary's series so much; in fact, I was bereft when I finished the last one... However, I left it a while before making the decision to start the Time Police series, and I am now thoroughly enjoying them! I absolutely recommend this title; Jodi Taylor's writing is like slipping under a comfortable duvet, and Zara Ramm (as always) does a stellar job of narrating.

Not my usual type of story
The subject matter didn't really interest me but due to the positive reviews I thought I would give it a go. very glad I did! Really well written and narrated with good characters and an interesting and fun story.

I want to follow the characters.
Initially I thought this was a children’s book but grew into it. I’m either a child at heart or there is something more to the superficial story. Left me wanting to see how the characters progress.

Brilliant Book, the whole series is in fact excellent IMO.
I’ve not long discovered Jodi Taylor’s work, but I fully intend to read/listen to anything & everything she has written, I read this book first, which then lead me to listen to a couple of Chronicles of St Mary’s as they are ‘linked’ ish & all probably are in the whole series, kind of. But the handful I’ve so far read/listened to are truly excellent pieces of fiction, if. Your a fan of comedy/science fiction, such as Douglas Adam’s, Ben Aranovich, Terry Pratchet et al then you will love these books, I have every intention of working my way through her entire catalogue & Im so so glad that I stumbled across her work, truly excellent pieces of fiction & I can’t wait to binge on the full series of TTP and CoSM over the next 6-12 months. Excellent work iMP. 😜

what a spin off
really enjoyed the spin off, brand new characters, a few you will know if you have ever read/listen to set Mary's chronicles (a few guest appearance).
it's written well to easy you in, you get an introduction to each character via their own chapter which I liked.
I would highly recommend if you like time travel (because here are the time police it is time travel) a bit if comedy and if you don't like knowing what's coming next

Wow! Fast, Furious and Excellent Narration!
Fantastic story - really whizzes along with flawed but relatable characters that really have you routing for them. The narration is spot on and just right for the story too. Can't wait for the next one in this series. Especially good if you have read Jodi Taylor's St. Mary's series too.
