Auf dem Sonnenscheinhof ist immer etwas los! Paula und Niklas kommen dazu, als große Kinder im Lämmchen-Gehege die kleinen Tiere ärgern. Erst haben sie Angst. Dann bittet Nicky Jesus um Mut und traut sich, die großen Kinder zu verjagen. Abends liest Nicky in seiner Kinderbibel die Geschichte vom "Guten Hirten". Er freut sich darüber, dass Jesus sich wie ein guter Hirte um ihn kümmert. Auch Paula lernt, Verantwortung zu übernehmen, nachdem sie zunächst vergessen hat, sich um ihr Kätzchen zu kümmern. Sie spürt, dass Gott sich um sie kümmert - genauso, wie ihre Eltern sich um sie sorgen.
