Sarebbero eterne stanze vuote tutte le vicende della vita e tutti gli stati d'animo delle persone se non ci fosse qualcosa a dare un senso a tutto quello che ci circonda.
È una metafora ampia e ricca di sfumature, che a sua volta il lettore può riempire con la propria visione delle cose.
