About this listen
Kate is in trouble.
Unable to move on from the abduction of her best friend, Kate is determined to prove that Chelsea wasn't just another teen runaway. Unfortunately, her investigations go too far, and she lands herself behind bars.
So when the Dean of a last-chance school for juvenile offenders offers Kate an alternative to juvie, she jumps at the chance.
Little does she know the challenges she'll face in a school for delinquents where each student is as corrupt as the next.
©2017 Jennifer Costley (P)2018 Jennifer CostleyThe book is from Kate's POV and we don't have to wait long before she finds herself at the school for delinquents. I loved the progression of the book. At first everyone is bad but as the story progresses we see that one there is another side to everyone's story and things can get twisted, two we all make mistakes, three we do not know what is happening in people lives to make them do the things they do, three to give people a second chance to better themselves/change, four not everything is black and white and five when someone makes another big mistake that hurt other people to not give up on them.
This is aimed at YA but older people might like it.
There is no sexual content (except for an attempted rape but we don't see this) a little violence and some profanity.
I would highly recommend this book.
Loved it.
