Quick and easy to understand techniques
This book is a super helpful introduction to the Vagus nerve and how it connects to things like anxiety, digestion, inflammation, and even heart health. It explains everything in a really simple, easy to understand way. What I loved most is that the techniques are quick (10 minutes a day), totally doable (like breathing exercises, cold exposure, light movement, etc.) and don’t require any fancy equipment. It’s perfect if you're looking to feel better without getting overwhelmed. Once you get used to the narrator's cadence it is a fairly easy listen.

Being a personal trainer, I'm interested in all aspect of physical and mental health. John has done a fantastic job of putting together a well constructed and laid out book that works well as an audiobook too! I found that chapter on the influence on physical health incredibly interesting and the case studies and real-life applications are fascinating too. The vagus nerve health plan is perfect for those of us who are pushed for time. I have started the program and it's already having some positive effects. Informative and very interesting
Very interesting and informative. Easy-to-understand explanations and steps to put the information into practical use to improve physical and mental health. I am integrating some of this into my routine right away.
Recording was not optimum, especially in chapter 8 and a few of the therapies (deep breathing) was repeatedly explained in different chapters, which was somewhat annoying to me.
