Good characters, pacy story

This is part of my binge listen of the series from the audible plus catalogue and I am so glad that have found it. Have listened to other books by this author and narrator and this combination works well.

As I have been binge listening it really has enabled me to get into the characters and it so worked. Really enjoyable characters.

The story was a good way to leave the series on an upbeat. The narrator got more in his stride as the series went on and now it's over I find myself wishing there were more.

Quite a good story but the prose is really simple and the Janet and John presentation is irritating. I listened to the end. I was entertained. Not sure I'll listen to the 2nd book.
