This is the 2nd one of her books I've listened to. excellent, good story, well narrated, will download the 3rd one. Hopefully more to come soon

2nd one I’ve listened to, really enjoyed it, solid story and plot. I’ll be listening to the 3rd one next. As a Devonian it’s lovely to hear stories set in the local area.
There’s just one little annoyance: Topsham which is mentioned numerous times is mispronounced. It should be Top-sham not Tops-ham.

I enjoyed spending time with the characters in both the first and this second book. Interesting stories that kept me wanting to know more. Well narrated. I’m looking forward to listening to the third book.

when the cat Rufus came into storyline I said to my husband
I hate when writers bring pets in to be Slaughtered- because they often do

I loved this book. Well-developed characters and an excellent story line. It's a shame there are only three books in the series.

So I went straight on to the next book in the series and for me the narration this time worked well and came into its own. I am so glad I continued as normally do like the narrator.

The story itself is engaging and I liked the setting. I am enjoying the fact I can binge listen through the audible plus catalogue so the characters become so familiar and you go on their 'journey'.
