Copperfield is Dickens' most autobiographical creation and the novel that bears his name has influenced generations of storytellers. Narrator Patrick Tull gives a lively reading of this massive, rollicking bildungsroman, bringing to life such characters as the avuncular and hapless Mr. Micawber, the unctuous Uriah Heep, and of course, the eponymous David Copperfield himself. Those ambitious listeners who can't help but burn through all 38 hours of classic storytelling remember these characters and adventure for years.

Most relevant  
This was the first Dicken's Novel I have read (listened to) and it was just excellent. If you are used to modern literature then you may find this long winded, but I found the slower pace and richer writing a refreshing change and really enjoyed it. This is especially true of the characters in the book, each one is developed and has a rich personality. The narrator, Patrick Tull, is superb and really brings the story to life. Full marks from me!
