Das St. Galler Passionsspiel ist überliefert in einer St. Galler Handschrift aus dem Anfang des 13. Jahrhunderts. Es verbindet ein vollständiges Passions- und Osterspiel (ohne Krämerszene). Der Autor ist unbekannt. Ausführlich schildert es Szenen aus dem Leben Jesu, in denen Christus als Wunderwirkender in den Vordergrund tritt. Das Widerspiel der Mächte zeigt sich in verschiedenen Szenen.
Das Hörspiel umfasst die Schilderung der Weissagung an Mose, die Verkündigung, die Heimsuchung, die Geburt Jesu, den Weg der Heiligen Drei Könige, den Kindermord und die Flucht nach Ägypten. Bearbeiter und Sprecher der Einführung: Albrecht Goes, Regie: Hanns Korngiebel.
