Stürmische Zeiten

Frederike hat mit elf Jahren schon viel verloren: Ihr Vater und ihr erster Stiefvater sind viel zu früh gestorben und sie hat im ersten Weltkrieg ihr gesamtes Erbe eingebüßt. Aber Freddy, wie sie genannt wird, ist sehr ehrgeizig und macht sich bei den Bediensteten auf dem Gut ihres zweiten Stiefvaters beliebt, indem sie kräftig mit anpackt. Und als sich der ältere Gutsbesitzer Ax von Stieglitz um sie bemüht, sieht es fast so aus, als würde doch noch alles gut für sie... Der neue historische Roman von Ulrike Renk beruht auf wahren Begebenheiten.
