The Path to Peace brought them to the gates of the old city. Now Alburet and his friends will need to find their way into the vaults under the city. The writing style of this part of the series is more in keeping with the first few books, which is great in my opinion. Less focus on grooming fluff and more focus on the actual alpha world storyline. Nice cliff hanger. Can’t wait for the next instalment... 5/5

I've really loved this series, but boy what a cliff hanger to leave this one on. I can't wait for Alpha World 8. Sad to hear it'll be the last in the series and that Delta World is a way off yet. The narration is great and has been all the way through with different characters able to be determined by voice alone. Pacing is good and a great continuation of the story. I can't wait till AW8 book gets released and almost certainly not until the Audio book gets released sometime after that.

I have loved this entire series and how I feel about this book is how I feel about them all. I enjoyed the story. The characters were deep both inside and outside the game. The pacing was excellent and kept me hooked. At no point did I think oh come on get on with it. I liked the "Good" Characters. I hated the "Bad" characters. Just how it should be.
The Narration was also excellent, very clear and understandable.
Overall one of my favourite series of books alongside Terry Pratchett and anything narrated by Wil Wheaton.
As an avid gamer I can relate to the books very well.
If there is a follow up series it will be an immediate but for me.
