I chose this book as it was one of those included in my membership. I really wasn’t sure what to expect and initially the protagonist really grated on me. A rich well educated young lady who made a bad choice of life partner. The first few times she got beaten up I was just shouting at my stereo “why the hell did you leave him?”. However as the story progressed I really start to get an insight into her conflict, and understand why she and so many other battered women might not be able to leave their partners. This is really an exemplary book Petru triumph over the old story and I am glad that they also got away without losing her life. Well worth listening to.

I don't know. it's difficult to review something based on facts, but I didn't really enjoy this. I'm not sure if it was the style but it felt rushed and lacked depth.
