I felt like I was on the lead characters journey and enjoyed the descriptions which vividly brought my imagination of Eqypt & the middle east at the time depicted. I wanted to hear more!

Loved this, it was lovely to step back in time and be reminded of how harsh life could be in ancient Egypt, a great story, didn’t want the book to end. Lovely narrater.

A pleasant and interesting retelling. I've listened till the end. Got more engaging towards the end. Much better if it's played at 1.05 or even 1.10 speed.

Nothing to disappoint here. It was biblical history that leads you back to the Exodus story. But it was so much more. Historic reference to Egypt and their Gods. The practises of the peoples of the time and the society. All interwoven beautfully into a heart rending love story. A wonderful book.

This book is so rich with historical details and spiritual insight. I would never have thought of the Egyptians' side of Exodus, and loved how she explained the events we read about so often but can't really imagine being a reality. The character development was brilliantly done.
The romance was so natural and beautiful, but also not the focus of the book, which I loved.

The narration was great and captured the characters perfectly.
Overall an Amazing book. 10/10 recommend.
