This is a great book on college planning! It’s an easy book for listening, yet packed full of valuable information. The author does a good job at first exploring the basics about college, then walks readers through the process of selecting desirable colleges and applying to them. The book then focuses on how to be successful at college. I really liked that the author even included a section on gap years for students who are not sure what they want to study in college, so they take a break after high school and work while they decide. I recommend this book to anyone thinking about attending college, as well as to educators and parents of students who are doing the same.

We got this book to help our son start thinking seriously about college, and it really helped us all get on the same page. It broke things down clearly—applications, finances, campus visits—and gave him a sense of direction. He’s actually more excited now instead of just anxious. It gave us a plan without making it feel like a huge mountain to climb.
