This book is full of suspense, action and romance. I love this series! The theme of a mother's love for her child was so well done in this story too. This book is full of some very endearing characters and others who are despicable. The book is a standalone listen. I thought the narrator added so much enjoyment to the book with his distinguishable voices for the various characters. The imagery in this book was well done that I could envision so many scenes and locations. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I definitely will listen to more books by this talented author and narrator.

Brilliant narration from Eric G. Dove, who brings all the action, drama, suspense, romance and steam to your ears,

Special Agent Jed Brennan finds himself in having to do his Christmas shopping and in the middle of a terrorist attack. Helping a mother Viv abe her mute son Michael. The eight year has not spoken for over four years, but he can able to remember all details and draw them. With terrorists after Viv and Michael, Jed takes it on himself to protect them both.
Jed’s family also helps and Viv’s dad who is not a good person also appears.
The attraction between Jed and Viv is off the charts. The story is well paced, full of suspense, romance begins slowly, drama, twists and heat.
