I’ve read so many organizing books that just made me feel worse about my messy habits. This one felt totally different. It doesn’t shame you or expect you to magically become super tidy overnight. Instead, it gives realistic tools that actually align with how my ADHD brain functions. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by clutter and traditional advice hasn’t worked, this book is a breath of fresh air.

My Kitchen No Longer Overwhelms Me
I used to walk into my kitchen and immediately feel defeated. It wasn’t laziness—it was overstimulation and decision fatigue. This helped me understand why ADHD brains get stuck, and more importantly, how to work with that instead of against it. The strategies are simple but powerful, especially the ones about using hyper-focus to your advantage. I’ve stopped expecting myself to clean like a neurotypical person. Small shifts, like task-timers and visual cues, made a huge impact. For once, I feel like I’m gaining momentum instead of chasing it.
