I like the way this book speaks to my question about what did we used to eat before fruits and vegetables from the other side of the world became readily available in our supermarkets. I used to be a big fan of juicing but procuring all the ingredients has always been a bit challenging, especially when at my home abroad often requiring specialist suppliers, no such problems with meat which is readily available everywhere, easy to cook and bleddy delicious! This book and the carnivore diet itself has very simply solved eating for me. Thanks to Dr Baker for writing it

An enjoyable read and perhaps one of the best manuals for those who are thinking to run (for their lives!?) from conventional dietary doctrine, or for those already treading on safer/healthier metabolic ground, who perhaps seek a final level-up on their low-carb / keto eating journey,
Beyond the self-help motivated readers, I feel that the book will also interest many enthusiasts of nutrition and health, given that the dietary practicalities (“eat steaks, drink water”) can be dispensed with in less than a chapter, and that much of the information provided is more like an interrim report on an advanced but on-going experiment on essential aspects of human physiology.
